Timelines

I'm not positive you literally learn something new every day. For instance, the day in college I spent watching episode after episode of Seinfeld that I'd already seen may not have produced much fruit. But, I am learning the importance of monitoring deadlines you make for yourself in public forums...much like this one. Wow, I didn't realize it's already been a solid 3 weeks since I said I'd have it fixed soon. Mea culpa. So, I guess instead of promising to have it done by ________, I'll just try to keep you posted on what is going on.

1) I haven't really touched it at all.
2) The only interaction I had with the extension was to explain a bit of its ridiculousness to my buddy rdg, who you might see commenting here and there.
3) rdg has become cooler than I am because he's actually working it

This only works for users with the normal plan. This will not work for family plans. This also does not include text message information. I'm only releasing this to show a good-faith effort on making this puppy work again.

Matt, I need whatever info you had to make a family plan work.

Way to keep up with the rebranding, too with the icon. I guess you have to rename the darn extension. "AT&T, Formerly Cingular, Minute Minder"

@rdg

I have a family share plan. I coded up a good portion of the family share plan support for Matt. Unfortunately I am unavailable for several weeks.

I will help as soon as possible, because I *love* this plugin. I have come to depend on it. It's a shame the AT&T changes were made right after 1.0 was released.

Cheers,
Chris

P.S. Here's my old patch http://www.christilden.com/tmp/group-minutes.patch (It's against 0.5) Maybe it will help out.

contact information would be great :-)

actually if someone just wanted to send me the HTML output of their messages and data page I could just parse that.

Hello,

Thanks for the update. It is getting closer, but not quite there for me.

Here is a screen shot of the output from the extension while I was on the cingular page. The numbers are correct, just not in the correct place.

Please let me know if you need something else to troubleshoot.

In my browser it cuts off the links, if you view the source of this page you will see the entire link.

Here it is broken into two pieces.

rdg- I gotsk the HTML of the page for a 2-person family share. Hope it helps. This is when I click the "Voice & Data Usage" link at the top. Does this help?

Hello all. Just wanted to say thanks for trying to keep this one alive. I feel as though there's still hope for it

Hi,

I have a family plan. I tried your latest and greatest, and I get "couldn't login to AT&T". How can I debug it to give you feedback?

Thanks for your hard work,
Stefano

Glad to see work is still being done on this. I happened to discover this just before the merger and new site screwed it up. The couple of days that it worked was pretty cool. I'm part of a 2 group, 7 person family plan. If you get this to work again for me, then I will totally be dropping a donation in the pot. Thanks for all the hard work!

Here's the latest release - still does not support family plans. Should work for text messages and fix the problem Matt pointed out (a regexp problem).

AT&T Minute Minder v1.0.0.1

Hello,

Man....it is so close!

It logs in & gets the data with no problem, but there seems to be a math error, the Minutes Remaining is "NaN".

Here is a link (broken into two lines) to a screenshot:

Works for me here with a regular plan, thanks for the work!!!

matt -

the whole reason for the problem we're seeing with yours is my regular expression didn't expect a four digit number for used minutes/text/etc (hey, my plan tops out at 450 minutes and I average ~25 per month. .hah).. anyways. the last release accounts for it, but what I forgot to do was strip out the commas and it's screwing up the math. Sooo... now it should be fixed. :-)
