No News is Good News
I haven't heard much screaming about the new release, so I'm assuming that's a good sign. Hopefully everyone is happily checking their SMS/Text messages as they go. Here's to finishing grad school in a week and getting started on Family/Group plans.

I've had something weird start happening since I upgraded to version .5 Here's a screenshot of what's happening:

matt - maybe a trim() or strip() of some sort will clear that out? looks like the same junk my coworker was getting.
Casey: that certainly is ugly. thanks for posting the screenshot. is there any chance you could save off the page you get when you log into cingular and email it to me (cingularminutes at gmail)?
Steve: that's possible, but the fact that it says "undefined" a couple times there makes me think there's something wrong with the parsing of page. I'd need to see the source of the page to tell.
VERY cool addon! Thanks a lot, Matt! Saro just showed it to me, and it's definitely gained a place in my must-have addons. :)
Good stuff, glad you like it. I'm guessing you must be Gretchen or Nate based on the Saro reference, but Edify Yo, doesn't quite make it obvious :-). Either way, hope to see you soon.
this works great! thanks. hopefully it'll help me avoid the unexpected 300 dollar phone bills--
BTW--i'm using V. 5 and i'm a former AT&T customer. experiencing no problems...
Everything works great except counting my text messages. It still says I have my full alotment, but I know ive used a bunch so far this month
anon: did you log in to your cingular.com account and see what it says? If the extension's data matches what the website says when you log in, that's the best I can do.
Thanks for add-on. Just wanted to point out that new terms for viewing minuts at cingular require that you access the service at least once in 6 months, otherwise, one needs to resubscribe to it, and it only starts working at the beginning of the next billing cycle. I am a former att customer and still using old plan, where login is at /ocs site. I'll let you know if I have the problem, once my viewing minutes privileges will be restored :)
I'm having trouble actually changing the "preferences" for the ph. # and password. I was originally logged in to see my wife's account, but now want to change it to see mine. Each time I try to change the phone #/password it reverts back to the first one. I even uninstalled the extension, then downloaded and re-installed it again and it retained the old phone number and password. Where is it storing this info? A fix would be greatly appreciated :)

Wow, what a great extension. Ever considered adding an element for Data Usage in addition to the Minute Usage. As Cingular offers better Smart Phones with push email and internet capability it would be a great feature for Minute Minder.
Ya the data usage would be an awesome feature. I am switching from Verizon to Cingular in 2 days, and will definitely get the data plan.
anon and chris: Well, I think it does support data as is. Let me know if there is something else you're looking for. I might not have the same plan as you, so I might not be seeing the same things.
