It's been a while

I haven't updated in a while because everything seemed to be going well. Unfortunately, it looks like something changed on Cingular's (AT&T now I guess) end around the end of last week. I was hoping it was just a temporary hiccup that would right itself, but it's been broken for a few days so I need to take a look at it. So, just in the way of estimates, I probably won't get to look at it until the middle of this week or so. I also realized that I managed to forget to put the 1.0 version of the extension onto the official Mozilla add-ons site, so I'll do that when I get it working again.

Short of the long, keep an eye out at the end of this week for an update, hopefully I'll have something by then.

Thank you! Thank you! I've become very dependent on this little plugin!

Well, let's not get too excited yet, I still have to fix it :-)

Want me to make a cingular/at&t icon for the toolbar? I had made a orange-guy-in-at&t-ball graphic for my web site so I have it big already, I could make it small. Is it a png with translucency? What's the resolution?

I was wondering why it stopped working...I hope you can fix it!

Yes, I agree, my kids have now become hooked on this plugin as it lets them know how close they are to purgatory.

PLEASE fix it for us again... we really appreciate your efforts and unpaid work on this. I hope in some way you can get some credit for creating and maintaining this application, if only as a line on your resume.

Thanks!

Thanks for the update and the free extension =D

Do you plan to add any new features since you're already going to crack open the code?

The website login is really different now.

Once I log in, I am able to see my proper minutes usage, that was broken the last few days.

I really appreciate the software, I have it on all my machines!

Aloha,
Matt

I am also waiting for your fixed plugin excitedly! Please push it to mozdev, so Firefox alerts us users who have left it installed until you update it :-)

Just want to leave my 2 cents as well. I know this aint your day job and I have absolutely no idea what goes into making this kind of thing but, man -- it's some kind of useful plugin. Thank you for all that you do. Looking forward to the update if AT+T will let you in!

Well, apparently I lied. I didn't get a chance to get this done as I expected. Here on the east coast of the US the weather has gotten rather summery and I've had quite a difficult time staying inside staring at a computer screen more than the 40 hours a week I already have to. So, I'm not even going to offer another promise, keep checking back. I'm going to be out of town all weekend, but hopefully I'll have some free time next week. Just so you know, I have gotten a lot more excited about it since my buddy Steve started taking a look at it for me. Keep checking back...

Thanks Matt - your extension has been a real help to many! I'm looking forward to the AT&T revision!

Ditto on the AT&T. My wife was always running over on "her" share of the family plan minutes...LOL, so it not being able to login to the new AT&T URL makes me have to log in manually the last few days of the cycle. Thanks for a great tool...one that doesn't compromise my machine by forcing me to use Active-X controls.

bad news people - it may take us awhile to get the next release out. Cingular/AT&T changed the way their HTML so it's considerably harder to parse now. It may all look the same but it's gone from tables to a DIV/CSS layout and it's not easy to pull information out of.
